Essential FunctionsPlanning/OrganizingMaintains Customer On-Time DeliveryReporting OTD delays to Customer service (for OEM and RMA)Maintaining all ship dates on the Sales Order for sales teamMaintain spreadsheets for BUD & Sales to review all WIP statusYearly, monthly, capacity planning and improvementResource capacity-moving jobs to available resources ensuring level loading and preventing bottlenecksReviews Backlog Report, Open Orders and status of parts dailyReviews Shipping Report to ensure Customer On-Time deliveryReviews Backlog Report for Pull-Ins. If Sales Order permits, schedules in VISUAL to ship early if manufacturing capacity is available earlier.Firm/release WOMaintaining release vs want dates on WO to ensure correct finish dateReviews Open Purchase Order Report and MRB reportsCreates Work Orders in VISUAL MRP for all fabricated in-house parts with delivery dates that meet Customer Sales Order required delivery datesGoes out to Vendors with Request for Quotation (RFQ) to obtain best price and terms for services Issues Purchase Orders for materials or services required for Work Order. Maintains Supplier On-Time delivery for all PO’s placed.Checks manufacturing capacity - if Sales Order permits, puts in VISUAL to ship early if manufacturing capacity is available earlier.Scheduling outside servicesWorks closely with Production departments, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering; Is responsible for tracking progress of Work Order until product is shipped.Reviews Open Purchase Order Report to see what parts are still dueEnsures that all Item Master Data (such as Lead-Time, Cost, etc.) is accurate and up to dateParticipates in Pre-production meetings and reviews Bill of Material (BOM) to help ensure proper planning of production Work Orders.RMA routing/Creating WORMA planning- sending repairs, inside repairs assigning to the appropriate resource Experience/SkillsMust be U.S. Citizen due to our government contractsWorking knowledge of Infor Visual ERP/MRP system or equal preferredExperience in an ISO certified working environment – ISO 9001:2008 or ISO 9001:2015 Education/CertificationHigh School/GED/Trade School or Associate’s degree in a technical field is preferredPlanning with 5+ years’ experience in ERP/MRP managed planning Physical RequirementsJob requires sitting at a desk doing normal office work, including phone communications and using a computer.
