Qualifications

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

Must be registered to practice with no restrictions with the Ontario College of NursesCombination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student successExcellent communicatorStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to relate effectively to a wide variety of learnersStrong computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are requiredRelated industry work experience, previous college teaching experience and student evaluations are assets

Specific Qualifications

Minimum post-secondary 3-year BA in related subject area; Master’s preferredRecent and relevant experience in nursingExperience teaching adults preferred
