Trader, Managed Accounts

Federated Hermes, Inc., a global leader in active, responsible investing, is seeking a Trader, to join our Trading – Equity Managed Accounts team based at our Corporate Headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office.

What You’ll Do

As a Trader, you are responsible for the coordination, generation, execution, and allocation of all Federated Hermes’ Equity Managed Accounts. Under direct authorization of Portfolio Managers or Senior Trader, this position works closely with and becomes familiar with all aspects of managed account operations.Daily functions include the processing of new accounts, deposits, tax sale requests, and the liquidation of assets for withdrawals and terminations.Generation, execution, and allocation of block trade orders with the various sponsor trade desks as authorized by the Portfolio Manager or Senior Trader. Work with Sponsors and Broker/Dealers on allocation and settlement issues.Update and deliver model portfolios to sponsor intermediaries for non-discretionary strategies.Maintain model delivery and relationship management with our non-discretionary clients. Compile trade execution detail reports for the monitoring of execution for all Sponsors and Broker Dealers used for execution for internal distribution as well as to our third-party trade cost analysis partner.

The Expertise We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in lieu of degree; business related major, e.g., Finance/ Accounting, preferred.At least one year of related experience required.Knowledge of domestic equity securities trading and settlement issues. Familiarity with Investcloud APL, Vestmark and various sponsor systems preferred. Solid quantitative, math, accounting and excel skills required. Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
