This position will be impactful in our efforts to build water-resilient communities.
This position will focus on sales expansion, the cultivation of a highly functional sales team, and overall market development across the Pacific Northwest region to include New Mexico, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. The position will be responsible for overall sales performance and oversee their associates and dotted-line reports. Working closely with the Meter and Automation teams and in concert with Municipal sales teams to deliver industry solutions and customer experience.

Responsibilities
Manages relationships and partnerships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure coordination and outstanding service levelsAssigns, monitors, and sets objectives for key accounts and sales representativesAccompanies sales representatives on existing accounts and potential customer callsProvides leadership and input for pricing proposals and strategic plans for large customer accountsSupervises sales trends, market dynamics, product performance results and customer preferencesCollaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products and services, and to provide sales supportReview operational records and reports to project sales and profitabilitySubmit short and long-term sales plans and prepare sales strategies using available marketing programs to reach designated targetsParticipate in leadership meetings and represent associate concerns, policies, and guidelines to the management teamEngage and collaborate with Ferguson Meter & Automation Group and Municipal Sales team building partnerships with municipal clients, providing subject matter expertise, pursuing a consultative approach to identify areas of need when technology solutions can supplement beyond the water meter
Qualifications
3+ years of relevant experience leading a technology customer-facing teamPrior knowledge of Waterworks Metering products and/or programs with specific knowledge of Sensus preferredFamiliarity with markets and business units within assigned geography is a plusAbility to travel throughout the PNW markets with occasional overnights. States include New Mexico, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and AlaskaDesire to be a hard-working leader, mentor and motivator of individuals and teamsAbility to analyze data, implement plans, and deliver effective presentationsExperience defining customer needs and providing solutionsAbility to lead complex and sensitive negotiations, challenging renewal discussions, and creative contractingAbility to coach and upskill teamConstructive and empathetic communication skills, both verbal and written, are a mustProficient Excel and PDF skills

Pay Range
$9,540.00 - $20,790.00
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
