Ferguson in Roseville, MN is looking for a Fabrication Associate to add to the team. If you enjoy working with people, are good with a computer, and have excellent communication skills, this position is for you!

The Fabrication Associate is responsible for a variety of tasks to the assembling, manufacturing, warehousing, and customer service of gasket related parts based off sales orders and/or as instructed by the manager. Additionally, we will train on our manufacturing system equipment.

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Responsibilities

Maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and proceduresCommunicate professionally with sales and management teams throughout the districtManufacturing of gasketsProcess both work orders and purchase ordersStock inventory, unload and load of the flash cutter, and freight shipments of flat stock gasketsSort, package, label, and stock cut gasket inventoryClean the entire shop and work areasProvide assistance in the pipe fabrication shop, valve and automation shop, or general warehouse

Qualifications

Fabrication experience preferably in the oil and gas industry is preferredFlash cutter experience is a plus but not requiredA team player - ability to work closely with cross functioning groups and assignmentsBe dependable and punctualTakes initiative and possesses a positive attitude that aligns with the teamAbility to communicate effectively with peers and managementGood “Hands-on” working approachStrong attention to detailAbility to accurately use calipers and tape measuresProficiency in math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of unitsRun a vast majority of equipment without assistance or supervisionBasic mechanical skills including the use of hand toolsAbility to read descriptions and operate a computerBasic computer skills such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & Outlook/email) and the Internet

Pay Range

$18.28 - $27.42

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
