General Maintenance Associate - Industrial Plastics

Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a General Maintenance Associate!

Pay starting at $20 an hour and can vary depending on experience!

Schedule: Monday – Friday / 7:30am to 4:00pm

Responsibilities

Operate power tools, including griding, cutting, sanding, drilling, etc. Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and company safety operating procedures. Observe vital safety precautions for shipping and receiving of rental equipment, purchase equipment, parts, and accessories. Properly package equipment to transport safely to customer sites. Involvement in equipment repair and rebuilding including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical aspects of the Fusion equipment. Maintain Fusion equipment with frequent fluid changes, filter changes, and replacement of wear and tear parts. Follow proper check in and check out producers for rental equipment and accessories. Troubleshoot fleet for needed repairs and maintenance. Follow housekeeping policies. Follow all company mandated safety policies

Qualifications

Prior mechanic experience is preferred but not required, training provided. Experience in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing of hydraulic equipment. Experience in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing of electrical components. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Experience and ability to work with power industrial tools. Experience in operation of powered industrial equipment / trucks / forklifts. Ability to work in a shop or field environment. Remain results-focused in a fast-paced challenging customer service environment. Familiarity with McElroy Fusion equipment is a plus.

Pay Range

$16.53 - $24.81

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
