Network Engineer
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Ferretti Search is representing our client in need of a Network Engineer. As a Network Engineer, you will be a member of the Global IT Networking Team supporting network operations.
Duties & Responsibilities: Configure and install various network devices and services such as routers, switches, firewall, and VPN.Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including firmware updates, patches, and security configurations.Monitor performance and ensure network availability and reliability.Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.Provide level 2 & 3 support to troubleshoot and resolve networking issues.Work within established configuration and change management policies.Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with our security team.Liaise with vendors, security team, and other IT personnel for problem resolution.Actively involved in infrastructure projects.Contribute actively to our continuous improvement and Lifecycle process.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree is required.CCNA or CCNP Level is a plus.Extensive knowledge of Routing Protocols, (SD)WAN, Switching and Wireless.3 Years of experience in networking and firewall management.Palo Alto firewall and Panorama experience a plus.Strong technical knowledge of network security.
