Director, Product Management

The role is positioned within Centene’s Digital Experience & Engagement (DXE) team, which is charged with delivering seamless, highly personal digital-first experiences - positively impacting health journeys and outcomes to build trusting, lasting relationships with all our customers, providers, and communities. The Director will define, implement and champion a set of standards and best practices for defining and delivering omni-channel experiences across the department driving toward continuous experience optimization through a test and learn approach. They will collaborate closely with other product managers to seamlessly integrate and harmonize the experiences and journeys of all customer types. This holistic approach ensures that our channels of engagement are synergistic, avoiding any disjointed or contradictory cross-customer type experiences.

Position Purpose

Align complex business needs into a product strategy. Own the end-to-end governance from concept to production of multiple products. Collaborate across teams to define, implement, and be held accountable for a set of Experience-specific Objectives & Key Results (OKRs). These OKRs will be leveraged by product managers to define and prioritize their respective roadmaps. Remain current with product management and industry trends / best practices, incorporating them into the ethos and standard operating procedures of their team. Be the primary advocate for the vision, strategies, OKRs, and roadmaps for their respective experience - possessing the knowledge and passion to articulate them clearly, concisely, and compellingly across audiences. Understand and translate business strategy into product strategy and roadmaps, collaborating with business leaders and technology teams. Manage design, development, and integration of enterprise-wide products and measure efficiencies gained. Write user stories and lead Agile and Scrum teams with technical counterparts to execute on roadmaps with clear milestones. Collaborate with senior leadership and technology teams to negotiate and agree on proposed new systems and changes to existing systems and practices. Synthesize market changes and technology improvements into actionable improvements for products. Build and maintain collaborative, transparent relationships with stakeholders from other departments (e.g., Lines of Business, Marketing, Brand, Sales) to understand their needs and pain-points and ensure delivery of OKRs and to take a global viewpoint in building and extending applications across use cases.

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.

7+ years of product management experience.

Deep knowledge of specified product domain and industry trends.

Experience with A/B testing, user testing, user interviews, and conversions funnels.

Proficient in digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, Tableau, Google Analytics, etc., A/B testing tools such as AB Tasty, Optimizely, MoEngage, etc. highly preferred.

Extensive experience engaging with UX designers, engineers, researchers, SMEs, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.

Experience In Healthcare, Wellness, Or Digital Health Highly Preferred.

Product Owner, Scrum Master, or Agile Coach experience preferred.

Experience in tools such as Miro, Jira, Confluence.

Excellent written, verbal communication skills and presentation building/delivering skills, with the ability to agilely adapt to the respective audience.

Ability to turn complex cross-channel interactions into intuitive, seamless customer experiences.

Pay Range $142,300.00 - $263,500.00 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
