Job Description

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced PowerBI solutions that enable our leaders to make data-driven decisions and take action to optimize strategic outcomes. The role sits in the office of the CIO and will contribute to high visibility projects. The ideal candidate will have a design-thinking mindset paired with a strong background in data analytics, and visualizations. You will work closely with business stakeholders and data analysts to gather requirements and build highly curated visualizations to be leveraged by our end-users. The deliverables will focus on the next generation of information delivery and offer a best-in-class user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Elevate the quality of reporting & capabilities of the team.Collaborate with business stakeholders and data analysts to gather requirements for dashboards and reports.Strong analytical skills to be able to address complex issues.Develop advanced PowerBI solutions that deliver actionable insights that drive decision-making.Create and maintain complex data models that support the visualization of large data sets.Develop custom visuals and integrate with other Microsoft technologies.Develop solutions in applications like Power Apps and Power automateOptimize performance and ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports and dashboards.Create and maintain documentation and training materials to support end-users.Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in PowerBI and provide recommendations on new features and best practices.

Passionate about the presentation of information.Learn it all attitudeHigh level of commitment, initiative, vision and enthusiasmExcellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.5+ years of experience in data analytics, visualizations, and reporting.Expert knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI, including advanced DAX calculations and data modeling techniques.Strong understanding of SQL and experience working with relational databases.Experience integrating PowerBI with other Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Dynamics 365, and Excel.Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.Ability to work independently as well as lead and mentor a team of junior developers.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

The Data Visualization Squad is aligned with the Strategy & Planning product area of Enterprise Technology. Your team is enabled with support of your ScrumMaster and leadership of your squad leader. Your squad is responsible for delivering intuitive reporting & insights that enable the CIO / senior technology leaders to make Data-Driven / Data-Informed Decisions that drive strategic outcomes aligned to ET strategy. Our goal is to delivery leading-edge information delivery solutions that enable insights & real-time decision making.
