Description
The Relationship Banker II processes routine and complex financial transactions for members in person and virtually, as well as follow up activities by phone and email. The Representative is focused on building strong relationships with new and existing members.

Job Duties
Establish and maintain member deposit and loan accounts, including business, trusts, fiduciary, IRA accountsProcess routine and complex financial transactions for members quickly and accurately (including deposits and withdrawals, loan payments, cashierβs checks, IRA), in compliance with regulations and guidelinesProvide the highest quality of service to all members; promptly address member concerns and/or escalate to leadership when appropriateEngage with members to understand needs and recommend financial solutions that best fit their goals, based on First Techβs suite of product offeringsParticipate in campaigns, cross-selling and making referrals when appropriate using the online tracking and CRM systemsPerform account maintenance activities including updating member contact and personal informationPerform follow-up activities and outbound calls for new and existing membersActively partner with other business units in sales and service activitiesParticipate in orientation of new representatives as required
Essential Skills
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum eighteen (18) months in a fast-paced sales or customer service role within the financial services industry preferredAbility to listen to membersβ needs and provide tailored product recommendationsExcellent listening skills with the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objectionsExcellent verbal and written communication skills; able to express ideas concisely and logicallyDemonstrated effective time management skills and the ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environmentSkilled to work in fast-paced customer service and sales environment without sacrificing accuracy and serviceAptitude for learning a variety of computer systems using technology to solve member issuesStrong critical thinking and decision-making skills with attention to detailWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteCertification/License: Notary preferred
Location: Lloyd District Community Experience Center - Portland, OR 97232
Target Compensation in Portland, OR: $21.63 to $27.40 per hour + quarterly incentive
