Prenlyn Automotive in Summit, NJ is now interviewing candidates for a Sales / Store Manager who will be responsible for every aspect of the store’s operation, which includes selecting, coaching and developing store teammates as well as merchandising, advertising and promotion of products and services. The Store Manager is the key component of running a successful shop. They are responsible for everything that happens within their four walls.

Responsibilities – Sales / Store Manager

Sales

Build repair estimates based on technician’s recommendationsPresent options to the customer, overcoming objections as neededPrice jobs correctly and limit discounting to hit gross margins goalsAttain weekly, monthly and yearly targetsEnsure technicians are following all inspection & safety proceduresKeep shop payroll within company budgetDo whatever it takes to say “yes” to every customerOperationsOther duties as assigned

Bay management

Source required parts for repair ordersEnsure the image of the staff, interior and exterior meet company standardAccounts receivable and payableInventory managementStaffing and schedule managementEnforce company policy and guidelinesManage technician training and development

Qualifications/Requirements – Sales / Store Manager

Associate Degree preferredAt least 2 years of Automotive service, Sales and Customer service requiredExperience managing a team of 4 or more preferredProven ability in sales growthHave working knowledge of cars with the ability to aid and train technicians with repairs as needed.
