📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
FirstFour Staffing is assisting a well-established Commercial Roofing client with their need for a Traveling Superintendent. This role will be responsible for managing assigned crews to ensure that projects moves in the proper direction safely and profitably.
Responsibilities include:Leading teams of 8-12 crew members, employees and subcontractors on project sites ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and with the quality and workmanship expected by industry standardsMaintaining safety, quality, productivity, and morale within their projectsSetting daily goals and standards for their teamHolding teams accountable; measuring the progress of their crew toward the established quality, productivity, and safety goalsManaging materials for projects from acquisition to completionConducting inspections to ensure work complies with standardsCoordinating with other tradesCreating reports for the project manager on progress and changes in workConducting project safety inspections of jobs
Experience/Skills:5 years’ experience overseeing commercial projectsCommercial roofing experience highly preferred, but will consider candidates with general construction experience as wellDemonstrated leadership skills – leading crews of 8-12Conversational Spanish is requiredMust be available to travel extensively
