Our State-of-the-Art Cardiac Care Center is looking to fill a full-time Cardiac Sonographer Role. Responsibilities
Will be responsible for conducting cardiac ultrasounds on both adult and pediatric patients utilizing 2D/3D echocardiography, m-mode, color flow/doppler mapping, stress echocardiography, UEA imaging, Global Strain Analysis, TEE and structural heart assist when appropriate. Will be responsible for collecting and evaluating clinical data and recognizing life-threatening findings and reporting, in a timely manner, to the appropriate reading physicians.
On a rotating basis, is responsible for all on-call duties.
All functions of this role shall be performed within the guidelines of department, ICAEL and hospital policies.
NOTE: This is a full-time day shift position. Hours are negotiable.
Qualifications
Associate degree or Higher level
BLS certification required
Formal Training in Diagnostic Cardiac Ultrasound required
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer RDCS (OR) Registered Cardiac Sonographer RCS required
