📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable Director - Up to $130k + 15% $4B+ manufacturing organization looking to hiring a strategic leader as their Accounts Receivable Director. This is a vital hire for them! Currently, the processes in place are very manual and they're looking to hire someone who can create new process/procedure and help kick off their new ERP implementation. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of AR, credit/collections and management experience, ideally from the wholesale/manufacturing space. ***3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Responsibilities:Champion Credit and Collections Excellence: Direct credit investigations, collections for delinquent accounts, and oversee overall accounts reconciliation, emphasizing efficiency and precision in credit-related functions.Strategic Credit Approval Oversight: Manage the credit approval process, analyzing customer financial data to establish appropriate credit lines, ensuring seamless processing of customer orders.Proficient Cash Flow Management: Formulate and implement procedures for cash application, guaranteeing accurate reconciliation of bank deposits, and provide insightful weekly cash flow forecasts.Innovative Policy Implementation: Collaborate with the Controller to establish and enhance credit and collection policies, continually improving collections and pay plans follow-up procedures.Month-End Reconciliation Mastery: Oversee the month-end reconciliation process, ensuring a balanced Accounts Receivable. Prepare and review monthly reserve schedules and accruals in coordination with the accounting team.Leadership in Team Development: Lead and inspire a team of 3 to 6 specialists, promoting growth, training, and development. Foster a high-performing team culture that excels in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting10 years of AR/Credit/Collections experience5+ years of management expeirenceManufacturing/wholesale/distribution industry experience
