Manager Project Management Office

firstPRO is seeking a dynamic PMO Manager with a strong background in Program Management to join our client located in Ewing, NJ. This role is a long-term consulting opportunity and has a hybrid work model which requires 3 days onsite. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in Program Management, with a background in project management and a solid understanding of PMO governance and compliance with SDLC. The PMO Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are in compliance with the established governance framework, managing budgets, and providing support to Project Managers. The candidate should have experience in hybrid Agile methodologies, strong communication skills, and the ability to resolve conflicts within IT and business groups.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with PMO governance and SDLC standards.Manage budgets for individual projects.Provide support and guidance to Project ManagersResolve conflicts within IT and business groups.Implement and maintain hybrid Agile methodologies.Utilize MS Project for planning and Azure DevOps for Scrum

Requirements

5+ years of Program Management experienceExperience transitioning from a project manager role to a PMO ManagerStrong communication skillsExperience managing budgets.Experience in hybrid Agile methodologies.PMP certification preferred but not required.Experience working in matrixed environments.Past SAP project experience is a plus.Background in Program Management from the Data, Software, or Application side preferred over Infrastructure.
