Job Title: Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Location: Stoughton, MADuration: Direct-hire
The company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead its FP&A function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial reporting activities, including preparation of monthly and quarterly financials, budget/forecast updates, variance analysis, and more. Additionally, this role will involve developing management presentations in collaboration with Accounting and other FP&A team members, as well as coordinating corporate and functional KPIs. The Senior Manager will also play a pivotal role in driving process improvements for the Adaptive Forecasting tool and leading special projects to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:Leads FP&A financial reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables such as monthly and quarterly financials, budget/forecast updates, and variance analysis.Collaborates with Accounting and the broader FP&A team to develop management presentations, including the Board of Directors package.Coordinates corporate and functional KPIs with FP&A business partners and functional leads to ensure alignment with organizational goals.Drives FP&A process and forecasting improvements for the Adaptive Forecasting tool, leveraging hands-on experience to implement reporting and forecasting enhancements.Owns the planning process calendar for annual operational planning, Board meetings, and long-range strategic financial planning.Develops and maintains the 3-year Strategic Planning Model and forecast to support strategic decision-making.Identifies and leads special projects and analysis, providing a strategic, financial, and analytical approach to decision-making.Advocates for continuous improvement initiatives across the FP&A function.
Requirements:7-10 years of relevant finance experience, with at least 5 years in corporate FP&A roles.Bachelor's degree in a related field.Hands-on experience implementing reporting or forecasting improvements within Adaptive Planning (formerly Adaptive Insights).Advanced financial modeling skills and experience establishing scenario planning frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, or related field.Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, CMA).Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on BioTech, MedDevice. or SaaS industry.
