How Will You Make a Difference?
Independently review legal documents and litigation correspondence in order to calculate, record, and disseminate docket dates pursuant to applicable court rules procedures.Accurately enter all deadlines for firm litigation matters into eDockets, the firm’s litigation docketing platform.Assist with inter-department training with a particular focus on court rules research and interpretation of those rules. Quality review Docketing Specialists work product.Maintain and strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and minimize risk.
What Will You Bring to the Table?
Law firm experience and a minimum of five years of litigation docketing experience is required.Extensive knowledge of civil litigation in federal and state courts, legal procedures, terminology, and court procedural rules.Experience computing deadlines in various federal, state, and agency courts and venues and experience with rules-based calendar systems,eDockets experience is preferred.Strong analytical aptitude with an exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work a 8/8:30 to 5/5:30 Pacific time schedule. This is required regardless of work location. Fully Remote with ability to commute into an office if needed
