JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Hone the vision of the firm with the leadership/executive teamEstablish goals for the firm and monitor the execution by establishing benchmarks and determining the necessary data and reportsProvide mentorship and management for accountants and tax associatesProvide leadership on a strategic level for the overall growth of the firm, focusing on business development and community presenceFind opportunities within the community for the firm to sponsor, volunteer and solidify our presence as a leading certified public accounting firmContribute to team cohesion by creating a positive morale and enhancing the firm culture, engaging with leadership/executive team to improve firm procedures and processes
JOB DUTIES:Prepares scopes for large projects, delegates and manages workflow through span of projectProvides business advisory strategy to client base, researching, analyzing and developing best practices for complex entitiesInforms, guides, and advises clients on tax and financial planning, communicating ethical strategies to mitigate tax liabilities.Provides fractional CFO level services for business clients such as cost analysis, revenue projections, cash flow analysis, etc.Conducts new and established client meetingsIdentifies current and future client requirements by establishing and maintaining rapport with potential and actual clientsReviews, prepares as needed and ensures the accuracy of individual and business tax filingsRepresents and prepares clients for IRS or state audits, develop response to notices as neededDisplays analytical skills by ensuring consistency of year-over-year tax information for new and established clientsRecords and reports client information in an accurate and timely mannerMaintains the stability and reputation of the firm by complying with ethical and legal requirements

REQUIREMENTS:CPA with Master of Accountancy6+ years professional work experience3+ years accounting/tax preparation experience in regional, public accounting fieldStrong tax and finance advisory proficiencyProfessional oral and written communication skillsAble to work well in a team settingMotivated and takes initiativeStrong ethical compassAccountable and dependable
