Senior Accountant

Fit is seeking a Senior Accountant to learn, support, and improve the financial management of a growing company in Orange Beach, Al, while also analyzing data to drive actionable insights for the company and its decision-makers. This position is paying $70K-$85K DOE.

Job Responsibilities Include: Analyze data and provide insights into performance, trends, and areas of improvement or concern, assisting in decision-making processesSupport cross-functional teams with financial planning, budgeting, and forecastingSupport overall financial management functions, including billing, AR, AP, job costing, treasury management, and the general ledgerPrepare and deliver accurate and timely financial reports to third-party service providers, owners, and managersPrepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses, collaborating with managersCollaborate with project managers on job cost accounting to track and forecast project costs and profitabilityCollaborate with 3rd party CPA firm for the preparation of annual financial statement reviews, tax returns, and regulatory filingsCollaborate with the Controller to maintain and update the ERP/general ledger systemEvaluate and implement improvements to financial systems, processes, controls, and workflowsEnsure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

Requirements
