ResponsibilitiesThe Payroll Specialist manages the payroll process and assists with human resource functions for multiple entities. Their responsibilities include payroll processing, reconciliations, and compliance. They are well organized, detailed oriented and use strong reasoning skills to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing. The Payroll Specialist should exhibit strong time management skills, effectively communicate with external parties, accounting, human resources and senior level executives and be willing to assist with other accounting, human resources and administrative tasks when needed.
QualificationsThree to five years' experience in payroll processing and post processing accounting.Experience with payroll/accounting software (e.g. Paylocity, Sage) and strong computer skills.General understanding of accounting principles and moderate to high level experience with Excel.Excellent reasoning skills with a proactive approach.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks or projects.Bachelor's degree preferred.
