📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are looking for an Engineering Operations Manager, to work for one of our clients, an aerospace and industrial manufacturer, located in Suffolk County, NY.This is a permanent, full-time job.
In this role you will be responsible for supervising production and quality teams and ensuring smooth coordination between Engineering, Production & Quality teams and suppliers.
The ideal candidate would have BS and/or MS in Engineering with at least 7 years of related experience in a high technology custom production environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Works with the business development and sales team to generate and evaluate new opportunities.Represents Production in cross-functional product creation teams.Being a key decision maker in relevant interactions with customers, suppliers and key industry resources.Ensures that financial and operational targets are met, including the cost of quality of manufacturing.Deploys the strategy, policies and financial metrics throughout the department.Maintains and continuously improves the people, processes and tools required for a world-class Production facility.· Contributes to developing and deploying the company business strategy and policies.
