If so, we’d love to hear from you! Flextek Resources has partnered with a leading manufacturing company that is well known globally and has an immediate need for an Electrical Engineer. As the Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the complete electrical project management of building the machinery.
This is a direct hire position and is 100% on site located in Northwest Houston. The Electrical Engineer will be heavily involved in the designing of electrical systems/controls for automated machinery.
Ideally, someone with experience in large rotating equipment, working with PLC’s (Allen Bradley), HMI’s, and machine-to-machine interfacing.
Core Responsibilities:Manage electrical project management including scheduling and planning, testing new developments, machine start ups and documenting of results.Control system design including control panels, HMI programming, and start-up support.Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering and others what is required.Develop documentation, electrical schematics, and other program files.Able to work on multiple projects ensuring they are on time and within budget.Work with all others needed to identify and solve any machine/equipment problems.Perform other duties as required or requested. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required3+ years of working in an Engineering roleWorking in an industrial environmentUpgrade and maintain process equipment onlineStrong technical understanding – control system programming and equipment control
