We are looking for a highly engaged Electrical & Automation Engineering for our Medium High Vacuum (MHV) Product Engineering team, based out of North America. This role will govern the regionally specific electrical and instrumentation properties of the MHV systems, support and lead Product Engineering projects and tasks and be the main contact point for automation related topics for the product family in the region. The incumbent will be part of the global MHV BU Engineering team and have global responsibility along with the regional requests.

Responsibilities

Lead regional product engineering efforts in alignment with product management and global engineering strategyAccountably lead regional certification topics for North America for MHV productsSupport all operational functions for requests on product family (CommOps, Order Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Assembly & Test, Aftermarket)Lead Design to Order (ETO with R&D) projectsDevelop and test automation improvements for MHV Systems together with other EIA (electrical, instrumentation, automation) team members in Product Engineering MHVStructure, establish, document and improve processes to support the product family on a global levelOversee GTEC support for the products and continue to train and develop GTEC resourcesCreation of electrical schematics (specifications, implementation, testing, maintenance)Electrical hardware design and qualification of components as part of product designsCreation of drafting documents (service instruction, training materials, work instructions)Application of national and international standards and regulations as part of the electrical

Requirements

Bachelor/Master degree in Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics or similarProduct knowledge on vacuum pumps, systems and general vacuum physicsProficiency in automation technology, field bus systems and general electrical equipmentBasic knowledge of electrical schematics (EPLAN P8)Familiarity with international industry standards for electrical components (ASME, API, NEC)Good experience in ERP system (preferably SAP)Experienced handling of MS-OfficeGood written and spoken English skills.Good teamwork capabilities and high work passion

Preferred Experience

Experience with SAP-R3;Project Management.Advanced Knowledge in 3D CAD (Solid Work / Windchill)
