Internal Audit Internship – Details

The Internal Audit team (IA) is part of FMC’s Risk, Controls and Audit (RC&A) function, led by the Chief Audit Executive. The IA team is responsible for performing audits globally and focuses on financial, operational and compliance policies, identifying financial exposures, compliance risks, control deficiencies and operational inefficiencies.

Your internship will include assisting our team in performing these key responsibilities. It will also include working on internal audits to determine the reliability of internal controls systems. As part of our global team, you will participate in international projects and will be provided with opportunities for a diversity of experiences working closely with the team’s Senior Internal Auditors (both IT and Finance) and our Internal Audit Managers.

Direct involvement in IA’s audit activities under the direction of the Senior Auditor Learn the latest, real-world use of data analytics and automation tools Exposure to the application of professional accounting and auditing principles Assist in developing recommendations for audit issues identified Participate in project opening and closing discussions with key site and process leaders Assist in the preparation of audit reports Exposure to FMC’s Enterprise Risk Management process, including strategic meetings with the senior leadership and other stakeholders. Basic qualifications

Student in an accredited undergraduate program Fields of study: Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology In Sophomore or Junior year prior to starting internship, or a Senior interested in first post-graduate business experience Academic good standing with GPA of 2.75 or higher Highly motivated with a desire to learn Proficient in Microsoft Excel Must be able to work in Center City Philadelphia for the duration of the internship, and complete daily work commute using reliable transportation.
