📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Commercial Bank looking for an Accounting Analyst. This position reports to the VP, Controller and is involved in all day-to-day activities of the department. Responsibilities include: understand GAAP and prepare daily journal entries, assist in preparing month end closing tasks, prepare monthly financial reporting schedules, account balance, variance analysis, coordinate with both internal and external auditors, and various special projects. Successful candidate must have 5+ years of relevant banking/financial reporting experience. Minimum 4-year college degree in Accounting. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Advanced in Microsoft Word and Excel. Auditing experience preferred. Salary $70-80k + bonus. Excellent benefits.
