Executive Director of Advanced Analytics (Clinical Technology)

The Executive Director, Advanced Analytics is responsible for driving and overseeing the strategy and implementation of advanced analytics within the Clinical Platforms Technology organization.

This role involves leading initiatives that harness advanced statistical techniques, data analysis and predictive modeling to gain insights from data and drive business solutions. Success in this position is measured by the efficacy, scalability, and impact of analytics initiatives.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

Oversee and drive the strategic direction of Clinical Platforms advanced analytics function.Lead a team of analytics professionals, setting objectives and shaping department strategies.Coordinate with the AI/ML Rapid Development Studio to further develop AI/ML prototypes.Develop and implement advanced statistical techniques, data mining and predictive models to gain insights from data and create business solutions.Partner with other senior leaders to understand their data needs and determine how data can be used strategically to achieve Fortrea business goals.Manage a diverse portfolio of projects, prioritizing them based on the objectives of the Clinical Platforms organization.Keep up to date with the latest technologies and trends in analytics, AI, and machine learning and incorporate these into business strategy.Ensure integrity, confidentiality, and appropriate use of data in accordance with regulations and standards.Foster a data-driven culture across the organization, championing the use of data in decision-making processes.Act as a liaison between the analytics team and other departments to synchronize efforts and ensure transparent and effective communication.And all other duties as needed or assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.

Experience (Minimum Required):

Minimum of 10 years of experience in a role focusing on developing data analytics or statistics capabilities.At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role required.Strong knowledge of advanced statistical methods, predictive modeling, machine learning algorithms, and artificial intelligence.Experience with data analysis software (R, Python, SAS, SQL), visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), and big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark).Proficiency in advanced analytics techniques such as data mining, predictive modeling, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.Ability to critically think and solve complex business problems using data.Strong communication skills to interpret and explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.Proven track record of managing large technical teams and delivering complex, data-driven solutions.

Preferred Qualifications Include

Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.Certifications in analytics, engineering, or big data.Experience in a CRO or healthcare-related industry.Strong project management and organizational skills.

Pay Range: $160K - $280K (The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity)
