Job Description
Forward Air is seeking capable and career-oriented individuals to work as a Logistics Coordinator O.S.&D. Our coordinators are responsible for handling all freight and shipping related tasks for shipments from our warehouse. This person would be working daily with our customers, vendors and freight carriers and handling overages, shortages and damage (OS&D).
Core Responsibilities & Duties
Maintain excellent communication with customersInventory and process O.S.&D.Work closely with the Tracing Department to resolve traces they may haveWork with the Claims Department to prevent potential claims for lost freightMaintain a clean and safe working environmentOther duties as assigned
Qualifications
Excellent communication and problem solving skillsStrong team player that thrives in a fast-paced environmentForklift and general freight handling knowledge is a plusGeneral computer skills - Microsoft Office, Outlook, AS400Must be 18 or older
