Our client, a streetwear brand based in Los Angeles is looking for a Quality Control Inspector Specialist to join their team on a temp to hire basis. Please take a look at the details below:
Hiring a Quality Control Inspector who will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and craftsmanship. This role involves visiting finishing houses daily, training team members on quality control procedures, and maintaining strong relationships with factories. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality control, a strong knowledge of garment construction and sewing techniques, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a requirement, as is reliable transportation for visiting various factories around LA.
Responsibilities/Duties:finishing houses daily to ensure products meet company standards.team members on quality control procedures and company standards.computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.be required to visit off-site 3PL locations.
Required Skills/Abilities: Minimum of 2 years' experience in quality control, preferably in the fashion industry.Strong knowledge of garment construction, quality standards, specifications, measurements, sewing, and various machines.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Personality suited for enforcing the company's quality standards and expectations with factories, while maintaining a professional demeanor.Must have reliable transportation, a valid CA driver’s license, and proof of insurance. The position requires driving throughout the day to various factories around LA.Bilingual in English and Spanish.Must sign an NDA.
Physical Requirements: Comfortable standing for long periods of time, physically mobile; can lift up to 50-pounds
