As the Special Events Manager, you will...Manage all incoming leads via Open Table, telephone, email and other channels; assists with managing event softwareClose deals and assist guests from start to finish with all event planning needsManage annual sales goals for selected restaurants by booking group eventsSeek out new sales opportunities and partnerships, initiating action plans and attending networking events to procure new businessBuild guest loyalty and book repeat businessCommunicate with the service team all event details; partners with General Manager and Executive Chef to ensure that each event is flawlessly executed against objectivesBook small to large events and able to prioritize tasks efficientlyWorks on-site to build a solid team atmosphere
QualificationsHave 3+ years of experience in a high volume events environmentRestaurant or similar experience preferredStrong oral and written communication skillsCatering/event software experienceAble to work flexible, sometimes long hoursExcellent customer service
