District Fashion Merchandiser / Buyer Assistant Overview
FOX’S is looking for a talented and dedicated fashion merchant to join our team. This is an exciting position for a hard-working individual who wants to develop an ongoing career in fashion buying.
Our buyers shop the world in search of the most creative and desirable merchandise the industry has to offer.The District Fashion Merchandiser / Buyer Assistant is responsible for supporting the Buying team. It is a multi-faceted position that requires travel, attending trade shows, daily / weekly store visits, merchandising, and product allocation.Candidates must be able to commute to our Mineola, NY office and distribution center, as well as our tri-state store locations daily.This is a long term role as we are looking for someone committed to contributing to the success of our company.Applicant needs to be capable of working at least one day during the weekend as part of their schedule.Previous experience in a retail, merchandising, or fashion related field is preferred.Applicants must currently be based on Long Island and local to Mineola, NY.
