Our Client is a World Class Manufacturing Leader who needs a Shipping Manager with strong leadership and communication acumen for a critical site in Greater Tulsa.People Leader will manage Shipping and related Scheduling and Traffic functions to support Tulsa Operations.ETO environment, incumbent will drive OTD to customers while optimizing internal Cost Savings. Leads and manages the outbound operations logistics team in TulsaRecruit, train, lead and manage an effective group of traffic coordinators and assorted shipping team personnelDevelop and navigate relationships with transportation providersEffectively Utilizes the TMS Provide operational leadership for the business’s distribution operations Ensure the efficient management of shipments, and paperwork associated with the movement, loading, and deliveries for all of Tulsa OperationsAssist with investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaintsAssist with the coordination of domestic orders with shipping, marketing, and carriers for a timely delivery and to be cost effectiveAssist with the coordination of customer service activities necessary to communicate the shipping schedule with customersAssist with the coordination of all truckload shipments from the Tulsa Operations location & finishing service providersQualifications: Preferred Bachelors with 6+ years of progressive growth preferredFive years of experience in a manufacturing/distribution setting in Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales, or Customer ServiceSupervisory or Management experienceProduction control in manufacturing environmentStrong working knowledge of TMS and MRP/ERP SystemsAdvanced problem solving skills, with attention to detailStrong leadership skills and Change management experience Ability to coordinate logistics moves in a cost-effective and time critical manner utilizing technology availableAbility to analyze data in order to drive efficient operational impactsExcellent planning and organizational skills exhibited under tight Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook.Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skillsAbility to work with people in a professional and respectful manner
