OverviewWe are looking for a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team. The Accounting Manager will oversee all aspects of the accounting department, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, leadership skills, and the ability to drive process improvements within the accounting function.ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting departmentPrepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgetsEnsure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policiesSupervise and mentor accounting staff, including training and performance evaluationsDevelop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy. Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals during audits and tax filingsAnalyze financial data and provide insights to senior management for decision-making.Monitor cash flow, budget variances, and financial performance metrics. Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes. Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and projects.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification is preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience in managing audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
