Summary

Applies industry knowledge to communicate and harmonize Freeman client's production requirements between sales and branch operations; improving efficiencies, controlling costs and providing a seamless flow of information. Works with branch operations prior to, during, and after the event to ensure successful delivery of all production requirements. Responsible for basic accounts that follow normal/standard specifications.

This position will support our Audio Visual and Event Technology team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time on show-site based out of Austin, TX. This role will help cover special events for intermittent periods of time with scheduled hours fluctuating weekly.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Participates in the planning and implementation of operational activities for assigned eventsReview CAD designs within Company standards to ensure proper execution of the eventWorks with branch operations to ensure completion of production documentation, assess labor calls, and define equipment requirementsMaintains a clear understanding of union jurisdictions and how they are to be appliedReviews equipment requirements to determine personnel and labor schedulesAssist in determining staffing needs and ensures that all labor requirements are submitted to the proper departmentsSupervises show site operational functions to ensure they are performed in a timely and cost effective mannerCommunicates client objectives and operational plans to show-site staffAttend scheduled pre-production meetingsMaintains daily contact with on-site staff documenting changes & updates as requiredAssists in the scheduling and coordination of trucking arrangementsDevelops production schedules, and facility arrangements for events as requiredParticipates in site surveys as needed to ensure proper planning of eventsAssist in the creation of needed production documentsPerforms other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

High School Graduate, Bachelors in related field preferredMinimum of 7 years of Audio Visual and industry experience, 10 years preferredMust have a strong knowledge of the convention, tradeshow and hotel industryMust have a strong understanding of the budget and billing processes for showsClear understanding of union jurisdictions and how they are to be appliedMicrosoft Office skills requiredStrong organizational skills, logistical knowledge and time management skills required The capability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general publicAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists and the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
