The AR Deduction Specialist is responsible for acting as a liaison between Funko and its customers. The position will perform validity checks on deductions taken by customers & work with them to resolve deduction disputes. We are looking for a detailed oriented individual who will take full ownership of the A/R & Collection position.
What You’ll Do
Identifies and codes deductions per desktop procedures and internal control requirementsDetermines validity of each deduction and appropriate dispositionContacts customers to resolve deduction disputes, as necessaryProcesses requests for credit for valid deductionsProcesses requests for payment on invalid deductionsEffectively communicates outcomes and/or next steps to appropriate stakeholdersAssist in special AR related projects as needed Documenting processes and leading continuous improvement initiatives
What You’ll Bring
2+ years account receivables and collection experienceHigh School Diploma required; Associates Degree or higher preferredStrong customer-focused attitude Basic knowledge of Accounting principlesExcellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to function successfully in a high volume and fast paced environmentProven organizational and time management skillsProactive in anticipating issues and able to think outside of the box to resolve issues promptlyExperience in processing credit card transactions preferredExperience with importing and wholesale distribution, preferably of consumer goods.Proficiency with ERP software, preferably NAV Dynamics is a plus
Salary Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $24.23 - $30.29 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
