Do you have a passion for helping chronic pain patients find relief and a desire for a flexible, long-term work schedule?We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Pain Management Physician to join our established outpatient practice in Dorchester, MA. This per-diem position offers the opportunity to work 1 day per week, providing consultations, injections, and minor procedures for patients suffering from chronic pain.
Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive consultations to evaluate patients with chronic pain conditions.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using interventional techniques such as injections and minor procedures.Provide clear explanations and compassionate care to patients.Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.Maintain accurate medical records.
Qualifications:MD degree and board certification in Anesthesiology or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with a fellowship in Pain Medicine.State licensure to practice medicine in Massachusetts.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pain management setting (preferred).Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.Proficient in documentation and electronic medical records.
