MES Business Analyst
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Description :• Looking for a manufacturing focused BA. Overall digital manufacturing projects and programs. Must have MES experience and some QC experience.• MES is implemented. The program has been implemented since 2022.• Deployment in an existing plant. The project in flight. They will implement upstream and downstream in different plants in future. Infrastructure is there and support model is in place. Adding badge records and interfaces. Adding interface to LIMS and Delta V, already connected to Pi and SAP. Program has been ongoing since 2022, MES already implemented. They have already connecting to some systems.• They need experience building business cases and getting funding approval. They will need to learn and navigate Client processes. Digital community of practice. Additional road maps for the site if they have the bandwidth to take on. But primary focus MES program and project management.• They will also be presenting to senior leaders (site leadership, business leaders, head of manufacturing, site head, head of engineering, and some global program MES leads, MES core team) in Steering Committee meetings for project updates and roadmaps. Need the presence and comm skills to direct convos at a senior leadership level.They will be working Waterfall methodology but they are looking to transform into Agile environment.• Provide leadership to cross-functional teams and/or programs composed of multiple projects/work streams with varying complexity in successful delivery of high-impact IT initiatives within a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant• Determine optimal prioritization of IT initiatives based on business value. Plan solutions to achieve identified objectives, drive program achievement, interface with senior GMS/GQ IT management and GMS/GQ business stakeholders to influence decision-making on projects• Responsible for managing a matrix team of internal and/or contractors on a project-by-project basis. The level of direct report authority will be commensurate with the level of project accountability of the Program Manager
Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise• Significant, well-rounded business acumen in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industries• Significant depth in at least one business architecture domain and at least one technical architecture domain (infrastructure, applications, integration, information & data, etc.)Leadership• Ability to define and communicate compelling, business-enabling technology vision and the value of this vision, along with actionable roadmaps to achieve target states across people, process, and technology dimensions• Demonstrated proficiency in leading and influencing cross-functional teams.
