Job Role: Jr. Quality AssuranceLocation: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid Onsite) – Local Candidates OnlyPay Rate: $40/hr. on C2CAcceptable Work Authorization: US Citizen or GC Holder Job Description Experience with SOME of the following is requested-
Quality Assurance Planning: Develop QA strategies, test plans, and test cases based on business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.Creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to verify software functionality, performance, and stability for high distributed and throughput systemsPerform root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for product and process-related activitiesImproving and maintaining the automated testing framework to ensure its efficiency, scalability, and reliabilityWrite manual or automation scripts in Selenium, Java, Python or Unix ShellCollaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the software meets compliance, security, and accessibility requirementsApply best practices to create test cases with various big data formats like Protobuf, Parquet, AVRO and JSONWork with event based / streaming technologies like Kafka, or Kinesis is preferredWorking with other members of the project team to support delivery of additional project components (API interfaces, Search) REQUIREMENTS· Bachelor’s degree required- prefer US degree from a reputable school- prefer a technical degree but not always required· Some (little) exp or knowledge of SQL, T-SQL and/or PL/SQL· Some experience with agile development methodologies· Any experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript, as well as test frameworks like Gatling and JMeter· Knowledge of test methodologies and tooling- Kafka and highly distributed systems· Any Experience with:- Load testing- Creation of testing automation- Database, backend, Mobile apps and API testing
