📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
ABOUT US:Futures Training Center is the premier baseball and softball training facility on the west coast. We utilize data and technology to inform training decisions in strength training, speed training, hitting, pitching, catching and infield. We focus on data-driven training, building relationships with athletes, and creating a world class training experience.Train aspiring baseball athletes - from MLB players to 9u players. Assist in players understanding the fundamental components of their pitching mechanics, and help them enhance their performance and approach to the game. Utilize data and tech in training sessions to inform training decisions: Hittrax, BLAST, Trackman, Proteus, VALD Force Decks, etc.
SKILL DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR POSITION:Schedule: Morning, afternoon, and evening coaching options.40+ hours per weekMonday-Friday, Occasional Saturdays/Community Events
Responsibilities:Coach semi-private hitting sessions and defensive sessions if needed.Exceptional understanding of tech used within in our training (Hittrax, BLAST Motion, etc.)Mentor aspiring baseball and softball athletes on their path to compete at the next level.Hold coaches and staff accountable for task assignments (Facility cleanliness, data projects, etc.)Program training plans for all hitting groups and levels.Collect, enter, clean data and track athlete performance.Run department and individual meetings with skill development staff.
