The Materials Lead plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards while complying with GA Telesis processes. This role will be responsible for the incoming inspection of customer articles, receipt for maintenance, and ensuring that the conformity of that product is preserved to the customer requirements during delivery to the intended destination.
Responsibilities
Conduct a visual inspection of the container and contents for shipping, and damage, packing, and proper paperworkTake photos of the incoming unit, data plate, and packagingTagging each received article properlyOriginate the work order package and route it to the Quality department for actionInspect all parts to be shipped to ensure proper shipping methods are usedEnsure appropriate packaging materials are being usedEnsuring all customer items are shipped to the correct locationEnsure proper identification of material and containersSelecting the appropriate packaging and transportation mode for all items being shipped
Qualifications
Experience in inventory controlExperience in warehouse operations The ability to operate a forkliftExperience in using different online shipping systems (UPS, FedEx)Experience in using computers and knowledge of Microsoft Office SuitesGood written and verbal communication skills
Education
High School Diploma or GED required.
