Summary: The GAF Business Process Excellence team is expanding and searching for a core member to support our efforts to define and drive the future end-to-end system & processes at GAF.

He/She will work to help push the organization beyond today’s problems to visualize and build an ideal state to support systems for tomorrow’s GAF, today!

Essential Duties

Facilitate & support process improvement Kaizens and workshops, including business process reengineering sessions, brainstorming sessions, and various process improvement events.Help develop appropriate metrics, including key performance indicators (KPIs), critical success factors (CSFs), and performance measures.Lead process design, documentation, development, and workflow designs.Gather, mine, and analyze data to drive business process improvements using Lean, or like process improvement programs.Lead process owners, stakeholders, and subject matter experts through the improvement process and manage expectations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on awareness and training effortsResearch, analyze, and make recommendations to optimize performance through process improvement

Under This Roof, We Require

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, or IT5+ years experience with process improvement tools and methodologiesProven experience with Lean/Six Sigma, Lean Transformation, and Business Process ManagementExperience facilitating groups through Kaizens, process discussions and workshopsExperience understanding complex processes across a matrixed organizationExceptional communication skills, including the ability to elicit information, actively listen, dialogue freely, verbalize ideas, and process effectivelyExperience creating well-designed process flow charts and diagrams using digital toolsPassionate about problem-solvingAbility to wear different hats in a fast-moving environmentExperience working on process optimization effortsLean Six Sigma certification (blackbelt)Experience facilitating current state and future state process mapping sessionsMust be detail-oriented, resourceful, and work well under pressureDemonstrate accountability, prioritize tasks, and consistent in deliveryShow a desire to learn and be dedicated to professional developmentAbility to travel 25% of the time
