Lead Electrical Engineer, Production Support

Job Description Summary The Lead Electrical Engineer, Production Support role within the Sustaining Engineering team will work on Power generation products for both the Military and Commercial programs. You will work closely with Design, Manufacturing, Testing, and Quality engineers to ensure the production and delivery of high quality power generation products to our aviation customers. You truly will be part of the team that "Invents the future of Flight".

This position will work closely with the manufacturing team on the production floor. Onsite work is required daily at the Vandalia, OH facility. Job Description

Roles And Responsibilities

Responsible for electronics design and engineering; designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems.Determines design approaches and parameters; analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests & evaluate results.Ensure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and proceduresProvide engineering / technical support in a production environmentFamiliar with Engineering Change (EC), Root Cause Corrective Analysis (RCCA), Cost Analysis, etc.Provides informal guidance to new team members

Required Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from an accredited university or collegeMinimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering position

Desired Characteristics

Experience with Analog, Digital, Mixed Signal, HMOS/MOS/CMOS, PLL, ADC, DAC etc.Familiar with the essential principles of electrical circuits and power electronicsFamiliar with the essential principles of magnetics and transformersFamiliar with circuit design tools such as LTSpice and Altium DesignerExperience designing, manufacturing, or troubleshooting electrical circuitsAbility to work in multidisciplinary teamsLead initiatives of moderate scope and impactAbility to coordinate several projects simultaneouslyEffective problem identification and solution skillsProven analytical and organizational abilityStrong project ownership, execution, and proactive mentalities.
