Senior Reliability Engineer

The Senior Reliability Engineer role is to identify the proactive maintenance requirements for assets to increase plant productivity, maximize reliability performance in a sustainable way and to capture all opportunities for process improvement while reducing total costs. This will be achieved through criticality analysis, implementation of an equipment reliability strategy, evaluation of proactive work results, follow up on any failure along with a formal Root Cause Failure Analysis for elimination of the failure. This role is 100% onsite in Louisville, KY.

How You'll Create PossibilitiesLead the process of determining Asset Criticality and its yearly reviewOptimize and manage the PdM program in the plant, which includes vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography, airborne ultrasound, and circuit analysisProvide expertise in the principles of Root Cause Failure Analysis and Reliability Centered Maintenance to create a culture of continuous improvement in asset healthProvide technical expertise and training on the use of predictive technologies, as well as the predictive strategies which need to be implementedDetermine the critical equipment and systems that will be monitored on a predictive basis vs those that will use time-based PM’s or condition-based PM’s.Drive cost and energy reductions through the plant by utilizing predictive maintenance strategies.Function as a key technical resource for the plant in areas such as predictive technologies, RCFA, data analysis techniques (FMEA, Weibull analysis, etc.)Provides equipment troubleshooting support using PdM technologiesMonitors performance of the equipment after predictive technologies are implemented and provides reports and updates, as neededWorks closely with maintenance and operating technicians to improve their knowledge of techniques that could impede equipment reliabilityProvides training to continue to build a proactive reliability cultureWorks with AME’s to insure reliability is designed into new equipmentPromotes a safe working environment by showing a strong commitment to safetyFollows all applicable standards and work instructions while performing the duties of a reliability engineerFollows all safety requirements and wears required PPEPerforms other job-related duties as required

Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years hands-on experience in manufacturing equipment or processes Proven leadership skills and record of accomplishments showing business impact.
