Location: San Francisco, CA office.

Compensation:The IC2 base salary hiring range for this position is $135,000-$150,000 + equity + benefits.The IC3 base salary hiring range for this position is $172,000-$190,000 + equity + benefits.The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The Team & Role Gem engineers work closely with product managers and designers to influence product direction, company roadmap, and business outcomes.We stay close to customers by joining customer calls, and reading customer feedback.We enjoy shipping features, moving fast, and being scrappyWe are receptive to feedback and continuously work on improving both our product and our craftAll of Gem engineering works out of our San Francisco office.

About you:You have 1-4 years of industry experience as a software engineer or software engineering intern, shipping user-facing features or productsYou move with velocity, and invest in improving your craftYou are good at driving solutions by communicating and working cross-functionallyYou are energized by collaborating in-office with your peers
