Job Summary: The Sales Enablement Trainer is responsible for the delivery and administration of best-in-class training to engage key audiences across the Consumer Power business and omni-channel distribution partners in support of the organization’s topline revenue goals. Classes include product feature/benefits stories, sales techniques, and critical program elements designed to develop and grow the omni-channel business. The Sales Enablement Trainer will work closely with multiple departments to coordinate training sessions that ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Coordinate with manager to align training initiatives and coaching with business goals Responsible for maintaining a deep level understanding of Generac programs and processes and simplifying the material into comprehensive training programCollaborate cross-functionally to assess sales training needs for salespeople and sales leaders; work with stakeholders to update and improve the sales training program Conduct train-the-trainer sessions with external sales teams and owns external vendor relationships as neededProject manages curriculum, courses, class schedules, and updates as needed Hosting online seminars, instructor lead training and one-on-one coachingConduct training program evaluations: communicate key performance indicators and report results to stakeholders; identify opportunities to continuously improve and execute updatesStay up to date on industry best practices, sales methodologies, and adult learning principles to continually enhance the product and sales training program Constantly inspect performance, using quantitative and qualitative observations to identify gaps and continuous learning opportunities and actionsUtilizes competitive insights, industry trends, and customer feedback to drive optimization and adoption of industry best practices
Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma plus 5 years work experience3+ years of experience in sales enablement, training or experience working with sales teams or mentoring and coaching3+ years of experience in sales or customer support environmentAbility to travel up to 30% and a valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications:Proven history of delivering impactful training programs and fostering a culture of continuous learningExpert-level knowledge of the sales processExperience navigating a fast-paced environmentProficient in Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint; additional experience with LMS programs a plus

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion, the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Up to 30% travel and valid Driver’s License required.
