Our work depends on an Analytics Specialist joining our team to provide dash-boarding, automation, and visualization analytics support and produce various products to demonstrate data results in an easily digestible manner for technical and non-technical personnel from Senior Leadership to Program Managers.

HOW AN ANALYTCS SPECIALIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Design and develop visualization products which take complex information from multiple data sources and create appealing interactive data visualizations.Design, develop and support statistical and predictive analytics dashboards and reports utilizing Business Intelligence tools such as Cognos BI, Qlik, and Databricks.Transform data sources into data tables within tools to include Qlik, Databricks, and Cognos BI.Create data models within Qlik that join multiple data sets and tables.Create and maintain report specifications and process documentations as part of the required data deliverables.Communicate with key stakeholders and technical teams to achieve project objectives, delivering cross functional visualization solutions.Development, maintenance and enhancement of the organization's data infrastructure and reporting environment; and identifies and implements opportunities to improve or standup data driven decision making across the organization.Ensure all data management activities are conducted in accordance with high quality standards and compliant with DoD and DON regulations.

What You’ll Need To Succeed:

Required Experience: Three (3) years of relevant experience in data mining, advanced analytical algorithms, programming, data science or software engineering.Required Technical Skills: Experience with Qlik and Databricks is required; additional experience in Cognos BI, Power BI, Excel, and/or DON/Jupiter tools is helpful.Required Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal (verbal, written, listening and non-verbal communication) skills. Ability to manage multiple project deadlines.Preferred Skills: Ability to engage well with others and passionate about providing an exemplary customer experience. Ability to embrace change in a positive and enthusiastic manner.Security Clearance Level: SECRET ClearanceLocation: RemoteU.S. Citizenship RequiredPosition is contingent upon DON Security receiving favorable results on background investigation of CLA prior to start of job. The likely salary range for this position is $96,000 - $144,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
