GDIT’s Military Health team is hiring a Healthcare Business Analyst in support of the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE) and the Defense Intrepid Network (DIN) located in Bethesda, MD.

On-Site- Monday- Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm (with a 30 minute lunch).

NICoE Defense Intrepid Network is dedicated to improving the lives of patients and families affected by traumatic brain injury (TBI) through collaborative efforts with patients, families, referring providers, and researchers.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Healthcare Business Analyst provides administrative support assisting in project planning, budgeting, and overall strategy for the clinical operations at NICoE. S/he conducts and presents feasibility analyses for proposed projects and operation changes, and also identifies operational problems and shortfalls and proposes solutions.

The Analyst will support the management and facilitation of NICoE clinical operations. Provides background research, organizational process asset searches, and information in the development of clinical operations related items such as: standard operating procedures, instructions, information papers, executive summaries, presentations, and manuscripts. Demonstrates clear understanding of both process improvement and project management procedures and methodologies.

Supports leadership in planning and managing projects and change efforts.Supports clinical leadership with compliance with regulations.Supports clinical leadership implementing and improving strategies.Monitor and analyze quality indicators and outcomes.Supports clinical leadership with daily operations of clinic.Provides input on operational procedures to increase efficiency, productivity and improvements.Develops and/or maintains professional relationships with other stakeholders.Facilitates the flow and approval processes for relevant projects as needed or requested.Independently generates reports and briefings as requested by government leadership.Supports TBI clinical operations and research studies that are in alignment with DoD’s identified TBI research gaps and priorities as well as ensuring compliance with all regulatory bodies.Facilitates the collection of quality data from various studies or agencies.Coordinates meetings as needed, for example, with the Service POCs and other agencies.Works collaboratively with team members.S/he must adhere to legal, professional, and ethical codes with respect to confidentiality and privacyOther duties consistent with the above responsibilities.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Bachelors in healthcare/business administration, management, or related field required. 2 years of professional experience in clinic or direct patient care setting.Must be proficient with a multitude of Windows based, email and internet computer applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Must complete government directed training.US Citizenship with the ability to pass a favorable T1 security investigation.

WHAT WOULD BE EVEN BETTER

Knowledge related to program/ project improvement program evaluations, process improvements, improving quality, reducing costs, and establishing appropriate process metrics and process controls, preferred.Knowledge of project or change management preferred.Prior experience within the DoD/VA systems of care preferred.
