Skills:Develop shell scripts to automate routine tasks and system administration activities.Expertise on Linux OS and the commandsMaintain and enhance existing shell scripts to improve efficiency and reliability.Deploy and configure Kafka clusters in production and non-production environments.Monitor Kafka clusters and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.Troubleshoot and resolve Kafka & shell script related issues, such as performance bottlenecks, data loss, and replication problems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Kafka-based solutions for data integration and streaming analytics.Implement security policies and access controls to protect Kafka infrastructure and data.Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline Kafka administration tasks.Stay up to date with Kafka & Shell Scripting best practices, new features, and industry trends.

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.
