GEOST seeks an enthusiastic and highly capable Production Planning Analyst serving as the focal point for manufacturing orders and planning for the cross functional teams across production, manufacturing, and supply chain. The Production Planning Analyst will ensure the production team has plans, material and documentation in place to produce complex EO payloads. As the Production Planning Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring successful execution of production schedules, that all materials are stocked, and overseeing the workflow of the production facility with consultation of management. Duties and Responsibilities:Establish clear and concise processes and procedures to delineate the roles and responsibilities of production planning analysts.Educate cross-functional teams on implemented processes to ensure adherence and understanding.Drive iterative process development through continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and performance.Release manufacturing orders according to production schedules and customer demands.Lead work planning meetings for short-term (1 week), mid-term (2 weeks), and long-term (4 weeks) manufacturing planning.Track and monitor manufacturing orders throughout the production process, ensuring timely completion and delivery.Forecast manufacturing orders based on demand forecasts and production capacity.Monitor and report MRP (Material Requirements Planning) metrics to ensure efficient resource utilization and inventory management.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Integration & Production, Engineering and Supply Chain to optimize production schedules and resource allocation.Identify and address potential production bottlenecks or constraints to minimize disruptions and maximize efficiency.Analyze manufacturing data and trends to continuously improve planning processes and performance.Coordinate with supply chain to ensure timely delivery of materials and components for production.Develop and maintain production schedules and capacity plans to meet customer demand and business objectives.Point of contact for purchase requisitions for the Integration and Production organization.Adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all production planning activities.

Required SkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field preferred. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Demonstrate assertiveness and collaborative skills to effectively navigate cross-functional teams and drive project success through teamwork and cooperation.Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead work planning meetings and drive process improvements.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.5+ years of experience in manufacturing planning, production scheduling, or related roles within a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in MRP systems and software, with experience in implementing and optimizing MRP processes.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.Experience in forecasting and demand planning, with a demonstrated ability to balance production capacity with demand fluctuations.Familiarity with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in manufacturing operations.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.An active U.S. Government Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a Clearance.
