π Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Summary:In this key role, the ERP Administrator is responsible for the implementation and administration of various business systems (Epicor and Reliance/ETQ) and other ancillary systems that relate to the ERP. This position is responsible for the overall performance of the system. In this position, they will perform a wide range of tasks and functions with primary areas of focus including maintaining the health of the environment, business intelligence analytics, dashboard development, and report writing. This position could be a hybrid position for the right candidate.
Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneDuties/Responsibilities:The responsibilities will include but not limited to:Maintain the health of the Epicor and RelianceAdministration of the supporting systems and services that interact or integrate with these systems and support the ERP business operationsManage Business Systems projects and initiatives Collaborate with business units to enhance reporting opportunities and solve problems by developing custom reports utilizing SQL and BI tools and analyticsLead and manage business analytics and reportingWork directly with business system stakeholders to define and drive system use and analyticsParticipate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure including customizations, integrations, add-on functionality and upgradesPerform system updates and manage all related system update tasks Perform systems training activities for departments and individuals throughout the organizationAssist with tier 1 support for the systems and be the primary escalation point for tier 2 level support including Incident Management, Problem Management, Knowledge Articles, and creating standard operating procedures (SOP)Create and define dashboards and report metrics that will help improve company performancePerform other duties as needed as a team member in the IT department Perform other projects and duties as assigned by parent company for the overall benefit of the organization Required Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated skills in managing systems Expertise in project managementAttention to detailFocus on the understanding of users and user experienceSQL query and report writing abilityAbility to think creatively and conceptualize product and process solutionsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to work well with all levels of management and staffFlexibility with working hours as required for system upgrades and maintenance Innovative thinker to solve issues and successfully deliver results on schedule
Education and Experience:2 years + of Epicor experience or 3 β 5 years other ERP system support, report writing, and/or BI developmentBachelorβs degree related to Information Technology Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or similar or equivalent experienceExperience managing and maintaining an Epicor manufacturing business system or other similar ERP is requiredExperience in modern database and application programming, ERP administration, and Microsoft SQL Server is requiredExperience implementing and or maintaining ETQ Reliance or similar eQMS software is desiredPhysical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerAlso required to stand, walk, and move around the facilities Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
