📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:Evaluate manufacturing processes, projects, or functions to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing outcomes and enhance efficiency.Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects by providing engineering expertise and ensuring smooth integration into existing manufacturing processes.Assist in the introduction of new equipment and processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation.Work independently to apply professional judgement and expertise in resolving manufacturing challenges and optimizing processes.Utilize previous experience and best practices to make informed decisions that contribute to the success of manufacturing operations.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement strategies for improving manufacturing performance and achieving organizational goals.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; or equivalent practical knowledge gained through experience.Strong understanding and application of engineering principles and concepts relevant to manufacturing processes.Experience in automation problem solvingAbility to work independently and make decisions based on professional judgement and previous experience.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders.
